Job Description:
Minimum three years of cumulative, hands-on work with the WebSphere technology platform.
• Proven implementation and configuration experience
• In-depth understanding of the Portal constructs including the distributed architectural design principles inherent in the Portal environment (Content Server, Collaboration Server, Studio Server, etc)
• Experience integrating with third-party software products and custom solutions
• Significant interface modification experience
• Thorough understanding of web services principles
• Administration/Taxonomy development experience
• General knowledge of Content Management solutions
• J2EE development skills
• A good understanding of LDAP repositories and J2EE application security
• Good working knowledge of SQL
• Understanding of design patterns and experience in their application
• Full life-cycle software development experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be able to function independently and as part of a team
• Experience with frameworks including SPRING, Hibernate, Dojo, JUnit, Ant, Maven, Cruise Control
• Experience using Rational Application Developer
• Experience writing unit tests
• Ability to document design
• Must be able to pass a National Agency Check (NAC) for on-site work at Government facility.
